CAREGIVERS AND THEIR FAMILIES: PAST, PRESENT AND... FUTURE?
A discussion and legal information session on the Caregiver Program Saturday, May 26, 2018 1:00-4:00 p.m. OPSEU, 31 Wellesley St. East (Walking distance from Wellesley Station) In the past years, several changes have been made to Canada's Caregiver Program (formerly Live-in Caregiver Program). For many caregivers, these changes have resulted in confusion or complications in their employment or securing their papers/status in Canada. At the same time, problems related to the program continue to exist, such as prolonged separation of caregivers from their families and uncertainty about their future. GABRIELA-Ontario invites caregivers and others who are interested in learning more about this issue, to a discussion.
